Financial Aid
Fill out the FAFSA or CASFA
This is the FIRST STEP to receiving any kind of financial aid.
FAFSA is for U.S. Citizens, and CASFA is for Colorado ASSET students or a non-U.S. citizen residents.
Planning to attend in Fall 2026, Spring 2027, or Summer 2027? Submit your 2026–2027 FAFSA by April 26, 2026 for faster processing. You can still submit after April 26, but it may take 6+ weeks to be received.
If you need financial aid for Summer 2026, fill out the 2025-2026 FAFSA/CASFA.
Types of Financial Aid
Scholarships & Grants
Scholarships is the option you should try first. It is a gift and no repayment is required! Grants are also known as “gift aid” and do not require any kind of repayment.
Student Loans
Student loans have to be paid back. Talk to one of our advisors to find the loan that is right for you!
Veterans Program
Eligible veterans can apply for aid through the federal VA program.

Can I take any class I want?
Financial aid can only be used for courses that apply to your degree program. Contact an advisor for help, or to learn what courses are approved for your program view the catalog.
