Accuplacer Test
The Accuplacer is a computerized test that helps place you in the right college-level English or math class. Most students will need to take this test unless they can show past assessment scores or proof that they have already earned an associate degree (AA or AS) or higher.
Before you take the test—or if you want to know what scores you need for specific classes—please meet with an advisor. To schedule an advising appointment, call your center director or Student Services at (970) 542-3100. Not sure who your advisor is? Check the Advising page to see who you should contact.
If your score isn’t high enough for the class you want, your advisor can help you explore your next steps.
Placement tests are untimed, so you can work at your own pace.
