Launch your healthcare career with Care Forward Colorado at MCC!
Care Forward Colorado provides zero-cost, short-term healthcare training at MCC. In one year or less, you can learn the skills to become a nurse aide, phlebotomy technician, medical assistant, or emergency medical technician (EMT).
Why a career in healthcare?
Healthcare jobs are some of the fastest-growing in Colorado and provide a wage that can support you and your family. There’s also opportunity to advance in your career. Once you earn your certificate, you can continue your training at MCC to add to your skillset and qualify for higher-paying jobs.
How does it work?
Students who enroll in eligible healthcare certificate programs for the upcoming semester will have tuition, fees, and materials covered, as funding remains available. In addition to training, you’ll be connected to an “earn while you learn” opportunity–such as an apprenticeship–that may lead to your first job in healthcare!
Grant funding is also available for in-demand careers like education, nursing, construction trades (including welding and electrical), and law enforcement through the Career Advance Colorado Grant.
Also see our Scholarships page for a list of other funding you might be eligible for.
